The Living Culture Foundation Namibia is a German-Namibian organisation which helps communities to establish Living Museums and simlar cultural and traditional projects.
The tourism in Namibia is at a peak in 2017 and 2018 and the Living Museums are visited by quite a number of people in the last two years. Here are our statistics for the last year 2017.
A high numbers of visitors means a good income for the communal Living Museums. We can assure that the +- 220 people working in the Living Museums of Namibia benefit quite well from the large numbers of visitors. Firstly the created income provides food security but also school fees are paid, money is saved in bank accounts or invested in life stock and vegetable gardens.
We would like to thank all the visitors in Namibia that support the Living Museums!
