Program 2010 - 2012

1. Bush walk: N$ 100.00 / person

with snaring, tracking and collecting bush food. ( 1,5 hours )

2. Singing, dancing and games: N$ 100.00 / person     

around the camp fire. Feel free to join in the fun. ( 1,5 hours )

3. Crafts in the village: N$ 120.00 / person

lighting a fire, making ropes and snares, jewellery, bow and arrow and prepare and taste traditional bush food. Learn and join in. ( 2 hours )

4. Action Day: N$ 200.00 / person

It includes everything as in programme 3 as well as the bush walk, singing, dancing, wedding ceremony, playing games, shoot a bow, throw a spear and watch the traditional doctor healing a patient. We also teach you to make your own bow and arrow as well as ostrich egg pearls and your own jewellery the old way. ( 4 – 5 hours )

5. Tracking Game: N$ 150.00 / person / day

Following game tracks like Elephant, Oryx, Kudu, Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Warthog, Giraffe or what we might find together with two hunters. Please take along about 5 litre of water

6. Hunting Trip (One Day): N$ 200.00 / person / day

Full Day walking in the wild together with two hunters, trying to catch Warthog, Kudu, Springhare, Porcupine or what ever might be so careless to cross our way. No guarantee to success though. Please take along about 5 litre of water.

7. Hunting Trip (Several Days): N$ 200.00 / person / day

Decide by yourself how many days/nights you would like to disappear with your two Bushmen hunters into the Kalahari wilderness, trying to live as much of the land as you wish. No guarantee to success though. Please take along about 5 Liters of Water

8. //Xa/oba: N$ 50.00 / person

Visit our modern village.  ( ½ hours )

9. Professional film making

You need to contact the Nyae Nyae Conservancy in Tsumkwe for filming contract (N$ 4000/day to be paid directly with the Conservancy in Tsumkwe).  Afterwards you can book any program with the Living Museum.


Namibian student groups only pay half of above prices. (Student groups include all school groups, University or other student groups, youth scout groups or any other educational youth groups. Up to 4 teachers (group leaders) are free of charge, but others pay the student price. All groups must prove their Namibian origin to obtain the reduced price.) Our Living Museum is a private educational institution without any external financial aid. As we need to pay our actors we are not able to reduce prices below this offer.
 
Children policy: 0 – 2 yrs free of charge, 3 – 12 yrs half price
