1. Traditional Life in the village - N$ 80.00
Experience the daily routine in our traditional museum, including our traditional blacksmith (making of weapons and tools), tanning of leather (production of traditional clothes), jewellery and crafts, dancing, singing and traditional games, Holy Fire and fire making and much more.
2. Bushwalk - N$ 70.00
Follow us on a bushwalk where the women collect plants from the bush for food, perfume and medicine and where the men show you how to set up traps, snares and how they used to hunt in the old times.
3. Traditional Life & Bushwalk - N$140.00
Combines programs 1 & 2 for the complete traditional Damara experience. N$ 100.00 / person (approx. 2.5 hrs)
4. Our modern village (on request) - N$ 70.00
Visit our home village, Louw-In, with a guide and learn how we live today. It is just 2 km away from the Living Museum. N$ 50.00 / person (approx. 1h)
5. Professional film making
for documentaries, movies etc.
- Up to 2 days unlimited filming: N$ 4 500.- (even if you only film a few hours)
- for every further day: N$ 1 500.-
Namibian student groups only pay half of above prices. (Student groups include all school groups, University or other student groups, youth scout groups or any other educational youth groups. Up to 4 teachers (group leaders) are free of charge, but others pay the student price. All groups must prove their Namibian origin to obtain the reduced price.) Our Living Museum is a private educational institution without any external financial aid. As we need to pay our actors we are not able to reduce prices below this offer.
Children policy: 0 – 2 yrs free of charge, 3 – 12 yrs half price
